General Projects is a contemporary real estate developer who design and develop creative and inspiring buildings. Working alongside brand consultant Simon Turnbul, we created the brand identities, digital and print marketing communications, and way finding, for two unique flexible work place concepts.
Expressway is workspace of small studios and workshops, aimed at small creative and service based businesses, situated under a flyover in the Victoria Docks of London’s Docklands. Our visual identity focused on the concept of movement and travel with the typography and icon set referenced from road markings and signs.
Based in the South Quay of Canary Wharf, TYPE, is a flexible workspace of serviced offices aimed at financial services businesses. The naming concept highlighted the flexibility of the space, a work place for all types of working, all types of services and for all types of people. For the visual identity we took inspiration from the pre-digital world of desk based working, referencing filing, typing, highlighting and photocopying.
