Osteria Angelina is a family owned sister restaurant to the original Angelina in Dalston which celebrates ‘Itameshi’, the Japanese word for Italian food with Japanese ingredients and influences.

Keeping the monotone identity we established for the restaurant we commissioned an illustration to express the different personality of the space, capturing the open-fire kitchen, handmade pasta counter and marble top bar. To compliment this and reflect the more casual dining experience of the osteria we art directed a series of images of half eaten and finished plates to hero the food.

The website was refined and expanded to accommodate the two locations and the duality of the different cooking styles, Japanese food with Italian influences for the restaurant and Italian food with Japanese influences for the Osteria.
