The Stroud design and produce limited edition blankets woven from the wool of rare breed Cotswold Lion sheep, continuing the historic tradition of weaving which made Stroud Valley cloth famous worldwide. Each collection is limited to the amount of wool obtained from that year’s clip.
Working with the founder, we created a logotype and identity system that contrasted the heritage story with a contemporary design language we which applied across the website, product labelling, packaging and print. Each blanket is supplied with its own certificate of authenticity and edition number along with a hand sprayed notecard referencing the coloured markings used by the shepherd to identify their sheep.
